Barbara A. Jones

Ms. Jones is a Partner at the prestigious international law firm of Kirkpatrick & Lockhart Nicholson Graham LLP and practices primarily from its Boston office. Ms. Jones maintains a diverse corporate and securities law practice across industry groups, emphasizing complex international and domestic transactions, including private and public financings, alternative exit strategies, dual listings, mergers and acquisitions and licensing transactions. She has regularly served as counsel to leading investment banks, financial institutions and private equity groups, as well as public and private companies in life sciences and biotechnology, information technology, energy, telecommunications, media, entertainment and sports. Ms. Jones is also active in the representation of Olympic and professional athletes and non-profit sports-related organizations.
She received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the Pepperdine University School of Law, where she was editor-in-chief and the California survey editor of the Pepperdine Law Review, and her B.A., with honors, from Michigan State University. Ms. Jones is vice-chair of the ABA's Section of Business Law, Subcommittee on International Securities Matters, and serves on the Board of Visitors of Pepperdine University School of Law. Ms. Jones is a member of the bar in the states of California and Massachusetts.
Ms. Jones is the mother of two school-aged children active in local team sports.
