...Title 9 and adding boys sport

Checking to see if anyone has gone through this or have some thought. We want to add a boys golf team to our high school. We now have a girls team. Our numbers look like this 63 percent boys play sports and 37 percent girls. Student population %52 boys %48 girls. We have taken a survey of girls looks like there is some interest in gymnastics. I think we could add boys golf and follow through with the girls interest. any thoughts thanks.

I was reading the content on your website and came across a commentary by Brooke as follows:

"It's time for moms to shed the label of "soccer mom" and to take a more active role in shaping their children's sports experiences."

Being an experienced and battle-tested soccer mom of two happy well-balanced collegiate student-athletes, I am confused as to the negative tone you imply to the label "soccer mom".
