My book would be...

So many books so little time. I am amazed that people keep cranking out youth sports books. If I were to write a book now it would be titled: Bank of Youth Sports: was it worth it. I have been paying out for over 18 years. Ouch! For some of my kids it was worth it. Those were in the early days when all kids got to participate equally (they had to beg the girls to play). Now, people have learned how to play the system and your lucky if you get your moneys worth. brooke de Lench has a great book--home Team Advantage that I did read. i have followed her for years and am hoping she starts to get involved in politics and kids rights at a higher level. Just curious what books are left to right?

Not the right kind

Larry,

There might be many books that address parental concerns for youth and sports but very few that address the athlete from their perspective and the thought process that they need to utilize in order to gain what they could out of their sports experience. At least that is my take on it after researching what is available.
