...Little League Pitcher, Too Good?

You may or may not have heard of this, but this is what I call "negative" sportsmanship. See link below with details.

Many questions abound....
Why are the parents upset with this kid pitching?
Is it proper to take anything away from kids that may make them fail?
This kids not wild, so there is no safety issue.
Who runs this league? Why do they cave to the complaints of a couple of parents? How can you ban a kid from doing his best?

I think it is the parents role to teach sportsmanship and to teach character. So many organizations stress that it is the coach who has to teach this but I do not know if they are doing it. I want to be the best coach i can. I am curious  about what and how you can sum it up in one or two sentances. Is there any easy one liner I can adopt to use in practices?
