What area is hitting you and your family the hardest in this energy crises: the cost of fuel or the skyrocketing price of food? Even a fun activity, such as going to the movies (which we thought was over-priced before), has reached an all time high over the past few months (for both the tickets and the concession stand). With the current surge in gas prices, what are you doing to save money on youth sports? Did you have to have your child drop out of travel teams this summer? Are you fundraising more? Have you started carpooling to save on gas? Please let us know what you are doing to save money on youth sports so that our whole community can learn new ways to save money or cut costs.

With the price of gasoline being over four dollars a gallon now, how has it affected your family concerning youth sports? Many schools are being forced to cut athletic and extra curricular activity programs. Has this happened in your city or town? Have you had to have your child drop out of travels teams this summer? Please share your stories about how this energy crises is affecting your children's sports and activities.
