Angela Ruggiero, US Women's National Hockey Team Member, discusses how to deal with scouting pressure and the process of making the Olympic team.  Her advice:

  1. Participate in tournaments where scouts are likely to be in the stands;
  2. Work hard in the off-season;
  3. Pretend that a scout is in the stands at every game, so go hard every single shift - you never know who is watching
  4. Making the Olympic team in women's hockey is a step-by-step process that can start when you are as young as 14.
