Concussion Therapies: Amantadine Shows Potential in Treating Traumatic Brain Injury

Some studies have shown that the drug Amantadine is helpful as a potential treatment for treating the cognitive disfunction associated with concussive brain injury, while others showed no benefit. Until further studies are done, amantadine should be considered a potential, as opposed to proven, therapy for the treatment of concussive brain injury.
