I have three sons, all of whom play football. This week they begin two-a-day practices. They usually don't eat before practice because they will throw up while working out. But during two-a-days, they practice for two and half hours, break for one hour, then practice for two and a half hours more. They are starving between practices but can't eat heavy before the 2nd practice. Any ideas on what to feed them that won't make them sick?

What to feed football players
I have two boys in football also.
One slice of bread with some peanut butter is great (you can slice a half of a banana and put it on it too). Instant oatmeal (not the creamy ones like peaches and cream). Bananas, pickles, protein bars, sunflower seeds, apples, oranges, grapes. Wraps with turkey, cheese and lettuce are good too (no mayo). Anything with milk or too heavy like meat or pasta will make them uncomfortable.
Plenty of water before and after the game.
