504 plan after concussion

Hello there, can anybody let me know after how many weeks after concussion, your kids can persue for 504 plan?

I am not a neuropsychologist, but I don't think there is any set number of days before a IEP becomes appropriate for a concussed student. Here is an article that talks about academic accommodations by MomsTEAM's expert sport concussion neuropsychologist, Dr. Rosemarie Scolaro Moser on the factors in setting up a 504 plan. I think the best thing to do is to consult either with the school's psychologist or see an outside neuropsychologist to help you in obtaining the academic accommodations your child needs. Good luck.
