Coaching
www.usasportsnet.com: Online
coaching program
http://www.positivecoach.org
- Research has shown that positive coaching can increase an athlete's self-esteem and self-confidence.
Unfortunately, these opportunities are all too often squandered for a variety of reasons,
chief among them youth coaches' and parents' adoption of the win-at-all-cost
mentality that filters down from the professional sports entertainment business.
Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) believes people want to change the culture of youth sports,
but are not equipped with the tools to do so.
In response, PCA has created highly successful and easily implemented tools to help coaches,
parents, and league organizers, take part in this movement to
"transform youth sports so sports can transform youth."
